Many guests knew when calling the front desk, or using front desk services, to avoid his abrasive and unpleasant treatment by using other staff. Other staff at the hotel apologized for his very bad behavior and resolved any problems that were encountered. Ryan was a front desk manager who was beyond uncooperative. Of the 30-40 hotel staff that I interacted with, I had only one unacceptable experience. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There was a significant variety of food options, the food was quite good and reasonably priced. The accommodations were very adequate, and had a variety of opportunities for guests to entertain themselves (besides gambling) while in the Manistee, MI area. Consequently, I would highly recommend this venue to others. As the mother of the groom, putting together a wedding for an out-of-state bride and groom I am delighted with the overall experience with the Little River Casino.
